Parrot Finance is building the next-generation AI Wealth Management platform by democratising access to traditionally restrictive investment managers that typically require you to be qualified as an UHNW ($2m+ investable assets). It combines social and “copy” trading, allowing users to mimic trades from institutional investors (Blackrock, Fidelity, State Street etc), with personalized portfolio construction recommendations… all of this without the need of an advisor.
Founded by three female founders (ex-KKR, McKinsey, Coinbase, Goldman Sachs), Parrot is a fast-scaling fintech with strong early traction: 40k+ users, $270m in AUM, growing revenue and 11x higher engagement just 6 months ago. Parrot is also a SEC-regulated financial advisor and received a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) license a few months ago.
The company got accepted into Shark Tank USA (0.5% acceptance rate) receiving funding from Lori Greiner (1.8million Instagram followers) and Rashaun William (Linkedin, Instagram). The episode aired on 20th September. They used this momentum to raise an oversubscribed internal Seed+ round earlier this year (where WSS participated) and have decided to take additional capital given their explosive growth.
We negotiated a small extension at a slightly higher valuation open ONLY to existing investors ehead of an anticipated $10m+ Series A round during Q1 2027 where eToro and Galaxy have expressed interest to co-lead. Oh, and they just received an acquisition offer from a competitor to acquire them for $80m making this a win-win scenario!
